Prophet Maria Byrd is a woman of God, motivational speaker, author, radio show host, music artist and entrepreneur. Currently residing in Atlanta, GA with her husband Prophet Eric Byrd and their three beautiful children; she has a passion to reach the communities around the globe by spreading the truth of God’s Word.

 

In 2007, Maria received her undergraduate degree in Mass Communications from Francis Marion University in Florence, South Carolina. Maria is the author of 8 books including her bestselling book entitled, “Touch Free”, which is a curriculum guide to maintaining sexual abstinence. Maria believes that providing practical tools to assist believers in maintaining their purity is essential to the kingdom of God. She works diligently alongside her husband while managing their multimedia design company Embyrd Design & Print Agency in Norcross, Georgia.

Maria hosts a broadcast in Atlanta, GA named “The Conversation with Maria Byrd”. The show airs on WIGO 1570 AM Radio, Facebook, Youtube, and online at wigoam.com. The show serves as a platform to have conversations that will benefit listeners in their quest to be “the best you that you can be”. Prophet Maria’s statement is “I don’t claim to have all of the answers but I believe we can at least start the conversation.”

 

She is an affirmed Prophet at The Harvest Tabernacle church under the covering of Apostle Travis and Pastor Stephanie Jennings. While serving in the areas of worship, deliverance and prophetic intercession, Maria’s mission is to transform the world of media through innovative literature for both the Christian and secular market.

 

When Maria is not serving in ministry or the marketplace, she sincerely enjoys being a mother and a wife. Writing, singing and spending quality time with her family are just a few things that keep her on her feet.
